Thoughts On The Beach
 

 

I feel the wind in my hair,
As I sit on this deserted beach,
Only the gulls footprints in the sand,
Only me and my thoughts in this secluded bay,
On this crisp and mellow Autumn day.
The sun hangs low in the sky,
Throwing sunbeams across the sea,
Like brilliant diamonds reflected on the waves.
In the distance the terraces of houses,
Painted many colours,
Some just holiday homes
Some lived in by sailors
Now long gone, in this once prosperous
Boat-building town,
Now its just a holiday place,
With just a few fishermen,
And it remains unspoilt it's beauty intact,
Reflected in the peace I feel,
When I sit and relax.

I love the colors and the arrangement of the boats! Have you tried converting just the background to B&W and cropping it tight to just include the boats?

The boats seem so haphazard in how they're just sitting there, which is part of what I love. And the colors, of course...and the man fishing! YES. And the man fishing. smile
